| コメント | 岸本にとっては身近な郷土芸能である獅子舞から発想された作品。体を寄せ合う2頭の獅子の毛並みの立体感や力のある眼差し、背面から覗く鳥やリスなどの動物たちが、定規に沿って描かれた均質でありながら多様な表情を見せる線の中に遊ぶ。「自分にはこう見える」と述べる岸本。本人が捉えている世界の姿を私たちはその作品から垣間見ることができ、それゆえよりいっそう作者への好奇心を刺激される。（水田美世） |
| comment | The lion dance, a traditional folk art familiar to Kishimoto, inspired this work. You can feel the intense gaze of the two lions huddled together and the three-dimensional effect of their fur. Birds, squirrels, and other small animals are peeking from behind them. These lines drawn along a ruler show a sense of uniformity and playfulness. Kishimoto expresses, “This is how I see." Through this artwork, we can glimpse the world as Kishimoto sees it; it is a world worth knowing. (Miyo Mizuta) |
